Democratic candidate Cheraton Love files for NC Senate District 29

Thomasville, NC— Dr. Cheraton Love, a Dean of First-Year Students and Biology instructor at Winston-Salem State University, has filed for office to ensure that Davidson and Montgomery counties have a choice in who they elect to the General Assembly. She believes that legislators in Raleigh need to get back to the business of taking care of N.C. communities and families by putting education first, improving access to quality healthcare and establishing a sustainable workforce. “Lawmakers need to be open to a variety of viewpoints,” she says. “The best solutions come from a collaborative effort that includes ideas from citizens and the hardworking people on the front lines”. As a state employee and educator for over eight years, Cheraton has the experience in working with her colleagues for the common goal of helping students reach their fullest potential. Now she is ready to bring her drive, passion and skills to Raleigh to benefit North Carolina citizens. Cheraton lives in Thomasville, NC with her husband, Brad, and their three daughters: Zoe, Lily and Rosie.
